It's snowing, here in Mid-Atlantic Sprawl.
Again.
The drifts from last week's blizzards have the traffic at a crawl.
And then?
Schools close, mass transit folds, but we'll be told to brave the squall.
If this were Buffalo, one would not mind;
For there
Winter, though harsh, is sober, and predictably inclined.
We bear
The "flakes of wrath". If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?

ReplyDeleteIt's so much prettier outside when a blanket of white covers dead bushes and leafless trees (plus the dead plants that didn't get cleaned up in the fall).
